I went in to Holyhead to photograph Virgin's 13.14 to Euston. No sign of it in the station area and nothing departed at that time, so what happened to it I know not. No doubt detailed information was available in the station had I asked!

Arriva's 153320 in 'Heart of Wales' livery was stabled in the station area.

Arriva's 11.15 from Crewe arrived on time formed by blue liveried 158822 and green liveried 158845. Both liveries look OK on their own but together look a touch bilious.

The same two units formed the13.35 to Runcorn East - normally
to Manchester but the last bit is done by 'bus on Sunday at the moment.
The train photographed on it's way out of Holyhead passing the Aluminium works.
There is a rake of wagons visible in the works yard, I would be interested
to know when these were last used.
The trees on the down side are very close to passing trains and could do with
some attention from a chain saw!
