2005

21st January 2005

Only a couple of shots today. The light was very poor and if Anne hadn't disappeared into the nearby shop selling patchwork and quilting materials I wouldn't have bothered. The results were surprisingly good in the prevailing light conditions.

47847 Brian Morrison/Railway World Magazine still on the 10.03 Manchester Piccadilly to Holyhead, here seen approaching Valley.
Going the other way, and had it appeared a few seconds earlier it would have been in the way of the first shot, was 176116

operating the Anglesey 'all stations by request' stopper the 12.36 Holyhead to Crewe. The last few times I've seen this service it's been a two car 158 unit.
