I had decided to spend some time at Llandudno Junction waiting for my wife who was travelling back from Manchester. I caught the 09.14 from Bangor, the 08.44 Holyhead to Crewe,which actually left at about 09.50 having been standing at the platform from it's booked time. Apparently something up ahead had failed and there was a queue of trains waiting to proceed. A certain amount of chaos reigned at the junction with most trains from Crewe and Manchester running 30min+ behind. Some services were turned back at the junction rather than running to Llandudno and some services to Blaneau started and finished at The Junction. My wife eventually arrived at the junction 40minutes late on the 11.16 ex Manchester Piccadilly which actually started at Manchester Oxford Road.
