I arrived down at Myfyrian just in time to see 2x20s amble past with a nuclear flask from valley. Didn't have time to get the camera out!

47 847 was on the 13.35 Holyhead to Manchester Piccadilly. The light was sunny spells with very heavy cloud. You can see what was about when 47 847 ran Past!

I moved down to pont Myfyrian and this is 158826 on the 12.17 from Crewe.

I moved on to the overbridge by the railway cottages to shoot the 'Voyager' on the 14.17 to Euston approaching the bridge

and passing the cottages.

Then 158826 returned as the 14.30 to Llandudno Junction

and went away past the cottages just as the sun peeped through.

Then 158831 came past the cottages as the 11.33 from Birmingham

and disappeared towards Bodorgan. The last four shots were taken with a Nikkor 300mm lens giving an effective focal length of 450mm, and make an interesting comparison with the 75/240mm lens set at 240 giving an effective focal length of 360mm
