Saturday 2nd April
I was back in Bury to pay a visit to my daughter and her family. On the Saturday I just had time to nip into Bolton Street Station to see what was running on the 4pm departure to Rawtenstall and found 45337 Ayrshire Yeomanry about to leave.
Sunday 3rd April
Chris my son-in law suggested that we took my grand daughter, Alice, for a ride on the train.
Three locos were in operation, 45337 as on the previous day, D5600, looking grubbily authentic, and immaculate 'Crompton' 6536
