	12th April. Birminghan New Street
	47 044leaves with the 10.25 to Paddington
	47 122 approaches through the tunnels at the east end with a train from Paddington
	86 246 leaves with the 11.48 train to Euston as a local dmu service arrives.
	Travel stained 47 131 with it's new number but still in original green livery leaves with a Cardiff to Leeds train
	At the west end of the station 86 032 arrives with a Liverpool to Euston train
	A class 45 on a Newcastle to Poole train heads for the tunnels at the west end.
	46 012 arrives with a Plymouth to Liverpool train
	87 032 comes out of the tunnel with a train from Wolverhampton to Euston
	45 016 arrives with a Plymouth to Edinburgh service.
	87 017 at journey's end with a morning train from Glasgow.
	46 046 with a Newcastle to Bristol train
	31 257 is running round its train after arriving from London Paddington.
	23rd April. Bolton Trinity Street
	25 042 trundles a guards van through the centre road. probably en route to Horwich Works to pick up a rake of repaired wagons.
	A Southport to Manchester Victoria train formed of a BRCW 3-car set pauses to pick up passengers.
	A Derby Lightweight 2-car unit leaves for Wigan.
	30th April.Farnworth
	50 010 has just emerged from Farnworth tunnels with the morning train from Glasgow.
	The entrance to Farnworth tunnels on the line between manchester and Bolton. Obviously built at different times, the one on the left shows a canal building influence so may be the older?
